Mavic drones are smaller all around, and foldable for easier storage and transport. The Mavic 2 Pro has the largest image sensor I have seen in a drone this size. That means images and video both look better than other drones, including the Pro’s near-twin sibling, the Mavic 2 Zoom. In this article of DJI Mavic 2 Pro, we will take a closer look at how the drone performs & all Mavic 2 Pro Specs verbosely.

Mavic 2 Pro Specs:
Mavic 2 Pro with Hasselblad Camera – Hasselblad camera is renowned for its iconic ergonomic design, uncompromising image quality. Co-engineered in partnership with Hasselblad after two years of tireless research, the Mavic 2 Pro comes equipped with the all-new Hasselblad L1D-20c camera. The L1D-20c possesses Hasselblad’s unique Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) technology, 5 helping users to capture gorgeous 20-megapixel aerial shots in stunning color detail.
1″ CMOS sensor – The new 1-inch CMOS sensor has an active sensing area 4 times more workable than the original Mavic Pro. The large sensor means better performance in a low-light environment with an extensive ISO range, max ISO lifted from 3200 to 12800.
Longer battery life – while not a game-changing improvement in LiPo battery technology, it’s still nice to see a more efficient system with an advertised flight time of 31 minutes compared to the 27 minutes of the first-generation DJI Mavic.
10-bit Dlog-M Color Profile – The Mavic 2 Pro supports a 10-bit Dlog-M color profile that outputs a higher dynamic range for more versatility in the grading room. The system records over 1 billion colors and retains more in-depth details in both highlights and shadows. Now you can capture the subtlest gradations at sunset or sunrise, leaving greater space for post-production.
60% Quieter Flight – The DJI Mavic 2 Pro boasts low-noise tapered (and more aerodynamic) propellers. Those, plus newer FOC ESC drivers offer advanced noise control and sinusoidal current for increased stability. According to DJI, aircraft noise has been reduced by up to 4dB (60%) for quieter, more enjoyable flights.
HDR Video – With 4K 10-bit HDR support, the Mavic 2 Pro can be connected into a 4K TV with HLG and will immediately play back footage with the right color tones. The brighter highlights and increased contrast are what make HDR video so appealing.
Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing – The DJI Mavic Pro only had sensors on the front and bottom of the aircraft, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro giving obstacle sensing in 5 directions (forward, backward, downward, left, right). It has been made to the big leagues now.
Adjustable Aperture – The f/2.8-f/11 adjustable aperture delivers outstanding image quality both in high and low-light environments. When shooting in low light, set the aperture to f/2.8 to allow more light in and to capture bright and clear photos. When shooting in well-lit environments, set the aperture to f/11 to lower the shutter speed and make your videos smoother.
Intelligent Flight Mode Upgrades – We’re getting upgraded versions of Active Track, Waypoint, and Point of Interest modes. There’s also a new Hyperlapse mode that looks REALLY fun and creative. TapFly is still there, and Tripod Mode is now Cinematic Mode.
